Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 29)— The tandem of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan on Saturday thanked the Makabayan coalition for the endorsement for the May elections.

In a statement, Robredo’s camp said the two are ready to work with the progressive group in order to achieve their common goals and platforms for the country.

The group cited the tandem's positions in the COVID-19 pandemic response; policies for workers, farmers and other sectors; as well as on issues concerning the environment and the West Philippine Sea.
