Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 18) — The Duterte administration got a record-high satisfaction rating in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

In the 2017 fourth quarter SWS polls, the Duterte administration left 79 percent of adult Filipinos satisfied, while only 9 percent were dissatisfied. This gives a net satisfaction rating of +70, which falls under "excellent."

This is the highest net satisfaction rating since the +66 June 2013 rating of the administration of Benigno Aquino III.

The rating was also a 12-point rise from the Duterte administration's "very good" rating in September 2017.

SWS attributed the gain to high satisfaction scores in Mindanao, NCR, and Balance Luzon, adding to a "steady" score in Visayas.

"The National Administration's net rating stayed excellent in Mindanao, at a new record-high +87 in December 2017, up by 13 points from +74 in September 2017," the SWS report read.

Scores in NCR also became excellent at +71, from the previous + 51 in September.

Net satisfaction ratings also saw a rise in class D or the masa, at a new record-high +71 in December.
