The Philippines remains true to its commitment to strengthen ties with Russia following President Rodrigo Duterte's second visit to Moscow early October. The two countries signed at least 10 business deals amounting to more than ₱600 million.

Russia also vows to cooperate with the Philippines in its anti-terrorism efforts and opens up the possibility of entering a nuclear deal.
