Big-time rollback for diesel expected next week
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 26) — Motorists should expect a substantial price rollback for fuel products next week, Unioil Petroleum Philippines projected Saturday.
Starting Nov. 29, per-liter prices of diesel might decline by ₱3.80 to ₱4.00.
According to the forecast, gasoline is seen to go down by ₱1.10 to ₱1.20 per liter.
Earlier, the Department of Energy (DOE) also said kerosene is likely to decrease by ₱2.20 to ₱2.40.
China’s current COVID-19 wave, increased fuel inventory of the United States, and the imposed cap on Russian crude might be the factors affecting the price rollback, the DOE said.
