Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 4) — Filipino athletes have won three gold medals so far at the 12th ASEAN Para Games (APG) in Cambodia.

Swimmer Gary Bejino won the Men’s 400M Freestyle S6 event, clocking 5:38.26 and setting a new APG record.

Another gold medal was won by swimmer Ernie Gawilan at the Men’s 400M Freestyle S7 finals, with a time of 4:58.78.

Cendy Asusano also clinched the top spot at the Women’s Shot Put F54 event.

The ASEAN Para Games opened on June 3 and will be held until June 9 in Phnon Penh.
