Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 16) — Gretel De Paz and Claudine Veloso secured two more gold medals for the country after reigning supreme in kickboxing at the 32nd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Tuesday.

De Paz defeated her Indonesian foe in the 56kg low kick category, while Veloso outlasted her opponent from Vietnam in the under 52kg category.

Their victories delivered the Philippines' second and third gold medals in kickboxing this season, and raised the country's medal haul in the biennial meet to 58.

Meanwhile, Von Buminaang settled for bronze in the men's full contact 67 kg kickboxing competition, also on Tuesday.
