Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 18)— Kai Sotto is back in the Philippines.
The Filipino basketball star arrived in Manila on Thursday and is set to join the Gilas Pilipinas pool for the upcoming window of the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers this month.
The 20-year-old center came from Australia, where he'll suit up for the Adelaide 36ers for a second pro season.
"I'm home," Sotto captioned his Instagram story.

Sotto was named part of Gilas' 24-man preliminary pool alongside NBA star Jordan Clarkson, Ravena brothers Kiefer and Thirdy, Dwight Ramos, and a number of PBA and collegiate stars, among others.
Gilas will face Lebanon on Aug. 25 before battling Saudi Arabia on home soil on Aug. 29.
