Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 2) — Jerry Yee is the new head coach of the Adamson Lady Falcons, marking his return to the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament.

The Adamson University made the announcement on Friday on their social media account.

He will replace Lerma Giron as the team’s head coach.

Yee’s last stint in the UAAP was with the University of the Philippines Lady Maroons from Seasons 76 to 79.

He brought the team to its most recent Final Four appearance in Season 78 in 2016.

Yee is also the current head coach of the De La Salle- College of Saint Benilde Lady Blazers, which remains unbeaten in the ongoing NCCA Season 97 women’s volleyball tournament.

In the Premier Volleyball League, he also calls the shots for the Petro Gazz Angels which finished second place in the Open Conference early this year.

Starting Season 85, Yee is expected to bring back the Adamson Lady Falcons in the Final Four after the team finished fifth in the recently concluded UAAP Season 84.

The San Marcelino-based squad last made it in the UAAP semi-finals in Season 76 in 2014.
