(CNN Philippines, August 2) — Filipino-American sprinter Kristina Knott ended her Tokyo 2020 Olympic stint after finishing last in her heat in the women's 200m run Monday.

The 25-year-old Knott clocked in 23.80 seconds, placing last among five competitors in Heat 7.

American Jenna Prandini finished first with 22.56 seconds. Gambia's Gina Bass was second with 22.74 seconds, while Riley Day of Australia followed at third with 22.94 seconds.

Twenty-four runners will advance to the semifinals — the top three in each of the seven heats plus the next three best times.
