Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 22) – Azkals Development Team (ADT) stalwarts Oliver Bias, Mark Winhoffer, and Quincy Kammeraad lead the Philippine side that will compete in the 2022 Asian Football Confederation Under-23 Asian Cup qualifiers in Singapore next week.

The Filipino booters need to finish on top of the Group H standings to easily secure a berth in the 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup in June next year in Uzbekistan.

The Azkals U-23 squad can also advance to the pandemic-postponed regional football competition if they can finish in second place in Group H, provided they are in the top four of the group runner-up standings.

United City's Kieran Hayes, Miguel Antonio Mendoza, ADT member Marcel Ivan Ouano, and Jens Sebastian Rasmussen are the forwards of the Azkals U-23 team.

Joining Bias and Winhoffer as midfielders are Jethro Borlongan, Dennis Chung, Yrick Gallantes, Mandy Lloyd Ignacio, Oskari Johannes Kekkonen, Jacob Francis Maniti, Sandro Miguel Reyes, Nathan Rilloraza, Mark Francis Swainston, and Shanden Vergara.

United City FC standout Justin Baas headlines the defenders in the squad, along with Paolo Nicola Perez, Christian Rontini, and David Kevin Setters.

Kammeraad, Enrico Mangaoang, and Jessie Reil Semblante are the goalkeepers for the Azkals U-23 team competing in Singapore.

The Philippine Azkals U-23 team will face South Korea on Oct. 25, host Singapore on Oct. 28, and Timor Leste on Oct. 31. All games will be played at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
