Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 25) — Bren Esports bagged the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M2 World Championship title after edging out Burmese Ghouls, 4-3, in a best-of-seven thriller Sunday in Singapore.

The Filipino squad was up 2-0 early, but their Myanmar counterparts rallied and won the next three games to take the upper hand.

Facing defeat, Bren banked on experience to force the rubber match and steal the victory.

Bren’s KarlTzy was named Finals Most Valuable Player.

Prior the title showdown, Bren eliminated Indonesia’s RRQ Hoshi, 3-1, to arrange the matchup against the Burmese Ghouls.

Bren was relegated to the lower bracket of the tournament after losing its opening match before sweeping its way to the finals.
