(CNN Philippines, November 16) — The Boston Celtics notched their 10th consecutive victory after outlasting the Golden State Warriors, 105-100, Saturday at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown tallied 24 points and 22 points for the Celtics, respectively.

But it was Kemba Walker who took over in the crucial stretch as he scored nine points to push Boston to the win.

The Warriors suffered another blow as D'Angelo Russell sustained a right thumb sprain at the 5:33 mark of the third period. He did not return to the match.

Golden State still had the chance to send the game into overtime, but Jordan Poole's attempt went wide.

Alec Burks paced the Warriors with 20 points and three rebounds. They absorbed their 11th loss in 13 outings.

The Celtics will next face the Sacramento Kings on November 18 at the Golden 1 Center, while Golden State battles the Memphis Grizzlies on November 20 at the FedEx Forum.
