Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 13) — David Beckham kicked off his third visit to the country by conducting a football clinic for kids 8 to 12 years old.

The global football icon did basic drills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting the ball with Philam Life 7’s Football League Founder Anton del Rosario Sunday at the McKinley Hill Stadium.

Also present to assist in the event were brothers Phil and James Younghusband, former Philippine Azkals players Ally Borromeo, Armand del Rosario, Simon Greatwich, Misagh Bahadoran, Jason Dejong, and Roland Muller.

After the drills, the kids from all walks of life had the chance to play with Beckham and their football clinic coaches in some exhibition games.

“Embracing sports at an early age is a great way to build positive habits for a lifetime of health,” Beckham said.
