Lantapan, Bukidnon (CNN Philippines, November 19) — Over a hundred people were taken to hospitals after allegedly eating contaminated food at a wedding in Talakag, Bukidnon.

One hundred forty-five guests and family members were rushed to different hospitals after experiencing headache, vomiting, and diarrhea on Saturday afternoon in Sitio Calapat, Barangay Tagbak, Talakag town.

Lantapan Mayor Ernie R. Devibar reported that among those affected were from Sitio Kibuda in Kibangay, a nearby location.

The initial investigation pointed to the pancit (noodles) as the possible cause of the symptoms, as it was allegedy wrapped in plastic bags early in the morning.

Doctors are still waiting for the toxicology report from the incident.

Cooks were also admitted to the hospital along with other victims. Some of the victims have already been discharged.
