Magnitude 4.5 quake rocks Sorsogon

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 3) — A magnitude 4.5 earthquake jolted Sorsogon Sunday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

According to Phivolcs, the temblor happened at 3:45 am. Its epicenter located nine kilometers east of the municipality of Prieto Diaz.

Intensity II was felt in Prieto Diaz and Legazpi City. There was no damage and aftershocks are not expected, the agency added.
