Marcos appoints Cacdac as Migrant Workers OIC
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 6) — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has tapped Hans Leo Cacdac as officer-in-charge of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
The DMW undersecretary for welfare and foreign employment previously served as administrator of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration.
Cacdac's appointment comes after the sudden passing of DMW’s first secretary, Susan “Toots” Ople, on Aug. 22.

Malacañang also announced other presidential appointees, including Jennifer Pia Las as chairperson of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s National Commission on Indigenous Peoples.
Jose Lim IV was also named assistant secretary of the Department of Transportation.
