International Public Relations Association launches new book 'PR Matters'

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 29)- A group of communication experts launched a new book dubbed "PR Matters," a collection of articles highlighting every corner of the vibrant public relations sector.

The International Public Relations Association (IPRA) Philippines together with Business Mirror announced the release of "PR Matters: A Communicator's Guide to the Dynamic World of Public Relations" on Wednesday.

"September is Public Relations Month so this was a perfect time to launch our book ;PR Matters- a communicator's guide to the dynamic World of Public Relations' a selection of 70 insightful articles by 18 of our members in the International Public Relations Association IPRA - Philippines published in our regular Monday column in the Business Mirror," said Joy Buensalido, CEO of Buensalido PR and Communications and former Chairman of IPRA Philippine chapter.

The event was held at XO46 Heritage Bistro S Maison Mall, Pasay City with guests from the industries of public relations, marketing, advertising, and communications.

"Our special guest was Deputy Governor Berna Romulo Puyat and we thank all our friends and colleagues in the PR, marketing, advertising and communications industry who came in full force to support this book," Buensalido added.

The IPRA contributors of PR Matters are Joy Buensalido, Richard Burgos, Karen Villanueva, Mille Dizon, Edd Fuentes, Jingjing Romero, Maria Espina, Abigail Ho-Torres, Claire de Leon-Papa, Rene Nieva, Bong Osorio, Butch Raquel, Ritsi Ronquillo, Charisses Chiudian, Margarita Chan, Kane Errol Choa, Ma. Amylyn Quiros, and Phillipe Borremans.

"PR Matters is a roundtable column by members of the local chapter of the United Kingdom-based International Public Relations Association (IPRA), the world's premiere association for senior communications professionals around the world," Business Mirror said in one of its released statements.
