Marcos to attend ASEAN event in Saudi Arabia in October

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 25) — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will travel to Saudi Arabia in October to attend the ASEAN-Gulf Cooperation Council summit, the Department of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday.

"His visit will further strengthen the strong, friendly and vibrant ties between the two countries," Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Antonio Morales said.

No details about the president's trip have been released yet.
