7 injured in Tarlac vehicle collision

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 6) – Seven bus passengers were injured after a vehicle collision along Manila North Road in Gerona, Tarlac early Saturday morning, authorities said.

In an incident report, the Philippine National Police said a trailer truck heading north was hit from behind by the bus as the truck was turning left.

Four of the victims were brought to the Tarlac Provincial Hospital, while the rest, including the bus driver, were being treated at the Central Luzon Doctor’s Hospital.

The trailer truck and the bus were partly burned because of the accident. Investigators are still assessing the damage both vehicles incurred.
