#WalangPasok: Class suspensions on May 31 due to Typhoon Betty
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 31) — As some parts of Northern Luzon continue to feel the impact of Typhoon Betty, some local government units (LGUs) declared class suspensions for Wednesday, May 31.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) retained Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 over Batanes and Signal No. 1 over other Northern Luzon provinces due to the tropical cyclone.
These are the LGUs that suspended classes in all levels in public and private schools:
Malibcong, Abra
Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro
Rizal, Occidental Mindoro
San Jose, Occidental Mindoro
Santa Cruz, Occidental Mindoro
Here are LGUs that canceled classes for preschool to senior highschool levels in public and private schools:
Licuan-Baay, Abra
Atok, Benguet
Itogon, Benguet
Kabayan, Benguet
Kapangan, Benguet
La Trinidad, Benguet
Manakayan, Benguet
Sablan, Benguet
Tuba, Benguet
Tublay, Benguet
Meanwhile, Baguio City suspended classes only for preschool to elementary in public and private schools.
