Mixed movement in fuel prices projected next week
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 27) — Fuel companies may implement a mixed price movement next week, Unioil Petroleum Philippines said on Saturday.
Motorists may find no price change in per-liter prices for diesel on May 30 to June 5.
Gasoline, on the other hand, might increase by ₱1.00 to ₱1.20 per liter.
This is the second week that gasoline may have a price hike.
According to the latest monitoring of the Department of Energy (DOE), diesel and kerosene have seen year-to-date net decrease of ₱5.05 per liter and ₱6.40 per liter, respectively.
Gasoline has a net increase of ₱5 per liter, the DOE added.
