₱1M reward offered for arrest of assailant in architect's rape-slay in Davao City
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 22) — Davao City First District Representative Paolo Duterte on Monday offered a cash reward of ₱1 million to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of the assailant in the rape and murder of an architect in the city.
Davao police earlier confirmed that 28-year-old Vlanche Marie Bragas was sexually assaulted before she was murdered. It was not clear how many people attacked her.
The police found her body at a banana plantation in Dacudao on May 17.
Duterte said Bragas was reported missing on May 17. She was last seen riding a yellow electric tri-wheeler vehicle near Crossing Fausta in Calinan.
