Grab releases remaining customer refund worth ₱6.66M
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 21) — Ride-hailing company Grab Philippines has released the remaining customer refund worth ₱6.66 million, and qualified users have until mid-July of this year to claim their rebate vouchers.
“If you are one of these users, your rebate is waiting to be claimed via your in-app GrabRewards catalogue,” the company said in a statement released on Sunday.
Grab added that some of its customers have yet to claim their three-year-old PCC-approved rebate vouchers.
To claim the rebate, Grab users should follow the instructions on its website.
According to a resolution released by the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC), unclaimed amounts will be remitted to the Philippine National Treasury.
Last May 15, the PCC slapped Grab with a penalty worth ₱9 million for failing to fully refund ₱25.4 million to its customers over three years after the order of reimbursement was released.
