King Charles III hopes to visit Manila soon – PH envoy
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines May 18) — King Charles III hopes to visit the Philippines "soon," the country's ambassador to the United Kingdom Teddy Locsin Jr. said Thursday.
Locsin presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to the Court of St. James to King Charles last May 16 at Buckingham Palace.
He was the first Head of Mission and first Philippine ambassador to do so after the coronation on May 6, according to the Philippine Embassy in the UK.
Ahead of the coronation, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. met King Charles in a reception with other world leaders in London.
