Fuel price rollback seen next week
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 18) – A rollback on diesel and gasoline prices could take effect on March 21, an oil firm said.
In an advisory on Saturday, UniOil forecast that diesel prices would go down by ₱1.70 to ₱1.80 per liter while gasoline prices would drop by ₱1.10 to ₱1.30 per liter.
A mixed price adjustment took effect earlier this week. The per liter price of gasoline went up by ₱1.00 while diesel and kerosene prices fell by ₱0.10/L and ₱0.60/L, respectively.
In 2023, the per liter price of gasoline has gone up by ₱6.70 per liter, while price drops of ₱1.00 and ₱1.65 were seen for diesel and kerosene, according to the Department of Energy's price monitor.
