Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 18) — A Cessna aircraft carrying four persons was reported missing in Camalig, Albay on Saturday, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines confirmed.

Cessna 340 departed Bicol International Airport at 6:43 a.m. en route to Manila. The air traffic control's last contact with the plane was at 6:46 a.m.

Among the missing individuals include the pilot, a crew member, and two passengers, said CAAP.

The local government unit of Camalig, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Coast Guard, Office of Civil Defense, and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council are already coordinating with CAAP in search and rescue operations for the aircraft.

CAAP added that its officers from the Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board were already dispatched to assist in the emergency situation.

Another Cessna aircraft also went missing last January in Isabela.
