Mixed oil price adjustments to take effect this week

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 2) – Fuel companies will implement mixed adjustments in pump prices starting Tuesday.

In separate advisories, Seaoil and Cleanfuel said the per-liter cost of diesel will go up by 40 centavos while gasoline will drop by ₱2 per liter.

Petro Gazz, Phoenix, Caltex and PTT also said they will implement the same oil price adjustments.

On the other hand, Seaoil and Caltex said per-liter prices will decrease by 50 centavos for kerosene.

The price adjustments of Seaoil and Jetti will take effect at 6 a.m. while Cleanfuel's adjustments will be implemented at 12:01 a.m.

Other oil companies are expected to make similar announcements at the start of the week.

According to the Department of Energy’s monitoring as of Sept. 26, the price adjustments have resulted in a year-to-date, per-liter net increase of ₱17.30 for gasoline, ₱13.40 for diesel, and ₱9.44 for kerosene.
