In its latest regional forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the shear line is currently affecting the eastern part of southern Luzon and the Visayas, while the northeast monsoon or amihan is dumping rains over the rest of Luzon.
Meanwhile, the low pressure area it was monitoring left the country’s Philippine Area of Responsibility at 2 a.m. and is not directly affecting the local weather condition, PAGASA noted.
