Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 19)— President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. will fly to Indonesia and Singapore for state visits next month, Malacañang said on Friday.

In a media briefing, Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles confirmed that the chief executive will be in Indonesia from Sept. 4-6. His trip to Singapore, on the other hand, will take place from Sept. 6-7.

“Wala pa tayong masyadong detalye, pero kino-confirm namin na tuloy po ito,” Cruz-Angeles told reporters.

Meanwhile, Cruz-Angeles noted that Marcos’ planned trip to the United States is still in the works. The Department of Foreign Affairs earlier said officials are working on a potential meeting between Marcos and his US counterpart Joe Biden — should the Philippine leader visit the United States.
