Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 5) — Maynilad Water Services Inc. will impose service interruptions beginning July 6 to 31 due to the "raw water quality issue", the company said in an advisory Tuesday.

Customers in the West Zone, specifically in Bacoor City, Imus City, Cavite City, Las Pinas City, Muntinlupa City, Noveleta, Paranaque City, and Rosario would suffer water supply problems as the company addresses quality issues.

"We apologize for the inconvenience," Maynilad said in its advisory.

Maynilad urged affected customers to store water in containers whenever supply becomes available.

It also urged its consumers to "let the water flow out briefly until it clears."

Maynilad said its mobile water tankers are making rounds in affected areas to provide potable water, while stationary water tanks have also been deployed in several locations.
