Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 29) — Manila will end its 24/7 drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination and swab testing at Quirino Grandstand on June 7, the local government said in an advisory on Saturday.
There was no explanation for the closure of the program.
The city launched the drive-thru vaccination and testing program last January. Data from the local government showed that 3,453,766 shots were administered as of Saturday afternoon. Of this number, 1,707,714 were for the second dose.
The drive-thru facility is only open for those with four-wheel vehicles. Motorcycle and bicycle riders can proceed to the facility at Kartilya ng Katipunan.
