Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 25) -- Filipina-Argentina actress Chantal Videla was officially unveiled as a member of upcoming K-pop girl group Lapillus.

MLD Entertainment, the home to “Bboom Bboom” hitmakers Momoland, posted on late Tuesday the photo of Videla as part of the six member-lineup in the group’s official Twitter account. She will debut under the name “Chanty.”

The 19-year-old actress previously appeared in some television shows in ABS-CBN.

As an idol trainee, Videla has released various song covers showing her vocal prowess.

Lapillus will debut on June 20.

Videla is not the only K-pop artist with Filipino blood. The others reportedly include Belle of Cignature, JYP Entertainment trainee Youn Dong-Yeon, and Kriesha Chu
