Gasoline prices up; diesel, kerosene rates down this week

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 23) — Motorists will pay more for gasoline but less for diesel and kerosene this week based on announcements of oil companies.

Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, Petron, Phoenix, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, and Unioil said they will raise gasoline prices by ₱3.95 per liter effective 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24.

On the other hand, Flying V, Petron, and Seaoil will slash diesel prices by ₱2.30 and kerosene by ₱2.45 per liter

As of May 17, per-liter prices have gone up by ₱21.60 for gasoline, ₱31.40 for diesel, and ₱27.65 for kerosene since the start of 2022 according to the Department of Energy’s latest monitor.
