Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 1) — Actor Dominic Roco and four other suspects were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Quezon City on Saturday, the police said.

Members of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) apprehended Roco, 33, along with Reynaldo Sanchez, 45; Eugene Marvin Tolentino, 27; Renz Anthony Cruz, 33; and Dexie Diamante, 21, during an undercover operation at about 1:20 a.m. in Brgy. Holy Spirit.

The police confiscated from the suspects ₱112,000 worth of shabu, ₱14,000 worth of dried marijuana, a weighing scale, and the buy-bust money.

Roco is the son of veteran actor Bembol Roco and brother of Felix Roco, also an actor.

Police Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III, the director of QCPD, reported on Saturday that they have arrested a total of 55 suspects for its latest operations — 11 suspects for illegal drugs, 18 wanted persons, and 26 suspects for illegal gambling.

Among those apprehended were two individuals included in QCPD's wanted list: Herbie Laque Barro, 33, the third most wanted person of the Novaliches Police Station; and German Natingga, 47, the ninth most wanted man of the Eastwood Police Station.
