Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 1)— The number of reported fatalities due to Typhoon Odette has climbed to 407, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said on Saturday.

Of this, only 75 have been confirmed so far, the NDRRMC said in its latest monitoring report.

The agency also said there are a total of 1,147 injured, while 82 people remain missing.

It also estimated agricultural and infrastructure damage to reach around ₱6.9 billion and ₱16.6 billion, respectively.

Meanwhile, the NDRRMC said over 4.4 million individuals were affected by the onslaught of Odette, which battered parts of the Visayas and Mindanao in December.
