Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 4) — Oil companies will increase fuel prices again for the sixth-straight week starting October 5.

The hefty price adjustment, effective 6 a.m. Tuesday, were announced by the firms in separate advisories:

The price adjustments reflect movements in the international oil market.

Meanwhile, Caltex will also implement similar price increases on gasoline, diesel, and kerosene products at an earlier time than the others--starting at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.

Data from the Department of Energy showed that oil companies' latest price adjustments took effect Sept. 28, when they raised the prices of gasoline by ₱0.55/liter, diesel by ₱0.90/liter, and kerosene by ₱0.95/liter.

Year-to-date adjustments stood at a net increase of ₱15.10/liter for gasoline, ₱12.95/liter for diesel, and ₱10.65/liter for kerosene.
