Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 16) — The Department of Foreign Affairs on Thursday said 15 more Filipinos abroad succumbed to the deadly coronavirus disease, as the total of those infected rose to 757.

The number of Filipinos overseas who have died of COVID-19 is now at 103, the DFA reported.

Among the confirmed cases, 414 are undergoing treatment, while 240 have recovered or been discharged from the hospitals.

Filipinos abroad who have tested positive with the dreaded virus are recorded in 41 regions and countries, according to the Foreign Affairs Department.

There are now over 2 million people infected with COVID-19 worldwide, with about 137,000 fatalities.
