Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 17) — The death toll from Typhoon Ulysses (international name: Vamco) has climbed to 73, according to the latest report of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.

As of 9 a.m. on Tuesday, the NDRRMC said Cagayan Valley reported two more deaths, bringing its total tally to 24.

Another four deaths were reported in Central Luzon, raising its toll to 6.

CALABARZON still has 17 deaths, 8 in Bicol Region, 10 in Cordillera Administrative Region, and 8 in the National Capital Region.

The disaster agency also said at least 19 were reported missing in Cagayan Valley, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, and NCR, while 24 were injured in Cagayan Valley, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, and CAR.

A total of or 3,052,049 individuals or 727,738 families were affected by the typhoon. 283,656 persons or 70,784 families are still in evacuation centers.

Power supply in 60 cities and municipalities have been restored from the 316 areas in Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol, Eastern Visayas, CAR, and NCR that experienced power outages.

Total damage to agriculture due to Ulysses has climbed to ₱2.72 billion, affecting Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, CAR and NCR.

The typhoon also left ₱5.26 billion worth of damage to infrastructure across the Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, CAR and NCR.

More areas were placed under state of calamity, like Cagayan and Cavite.

The government has allotted nearly ₱47 million to assist all affected families.

Ulysses, the 21st tropical cyclone to hit the country this year, brought heavy rains and strong winds -- causing massive flooding in many parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila.
