Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The Velaris Residences' first tower, The South Tower, topped off on June 6, just two years after the project broke ground in 2021. This marked a new and unprecedented construction milestone for the premium residential condominium.

The Velaris Residences is an iconic, award-winning luxury condominium that boasts of distinct details and RHK Land's signature intentional design philosophy. It is the pilot project of RHK Land, a powerhouse partnership between international property developer Hongkong Land and local real estate giant Robinsons Land. The project's launch in 2020 redefined the Philippine luxury market.

Topping off is a centuries-old tradition to signify the installation of the last beam in a building's structure. During the event, RHK Land General Manager Rouen Raz, RHK Land CEO & President Chad Sotelo, and Hongkong Land Country Manager Francis Yee celebrated the topping off with a ceremonial signing of the beam. They also thanked distinguished guests for their support and hard work in delivering the project on time despite challenges brought about by the pandemic.

The Velaris Residences is among the world's finest in interior design. The South Tower has won several awards internationally which include back-to-back wins in the high-rise residential development category of the Asia Pacific Property Awards. It also won Best Condo Interior Design and was a Highly Commended property in the Best High-end Development in Metro Manila category at the 9th Property Guru Philippines Property Awards.

The masterfully designed 45-storey South Tower is the first of the three-tower development of The Velaris Residences. It offers masterfully-designed units that come with premium finishes and fixtures, and smart home essentials. Bigger units have private lift lobbies, offering privacy, luxury, and convenience.

It also has an Olympic-length infinity pool, a Japanese sento, a lifestyle gym connected to a yoga studio and dance studio, an events pavilion, kids’ playroom, a private theater, and multi-level landscaped gardens.

Recently, the project also launched a new lineup of ingenious amenities for the post-pandemic world. This includes the residents’ portal app, soundproof office pods and personal work stations designed for the work-from-home setup, a golf simulator studio, and an outdoor fitness station.
