Siargao makes it to Vogue Paris list of top islands for summer holidays

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 2)— One Philippine destination made it to a renowned lifestyle magazine's list of the world's best islands to fly to for a summer vacation.

The country's surfing paradise Siargao was featured by Vogue Paris as one of the top 10 islands "to go on vacation this summer."

Vogue Paris praised the island's beaches — including Jacking Horse and Pacifico — which it described as ideal for surfing.

The magazine also highlighted the turquoise waters of Siargao's natural pools.

Siargao joined other renowned landmarks in the list — including Ponza in Italy, Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, and Canggu in Bali, Indonesia.
