Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 19) — K-pop star and actress Sandara Park expressed her disappointment after the upcoming joint concert "Awake: A New Beginning" in Cebu got postponed.

"I'm also very, very sad and disappointed with what happened," the 2NE1 member wrote on social media. "I was preparing a lot for the show."

"But there is always next time. I hope you guys are ok and don't forget I'll always be here for my Daralings and Blackjacks," she added.

Park was supposed to be joined by AB6IX, Viviz, Younite, 1MILLION, and MB Crew at the City Di Mare events grounds in South Road Properties (SRP) in Cebu City on Sept. 23.

But on Friday, Sept. 15, event organizer Mark Entertainment and Events postponed the concert, citing "unforeseen circumstances and unpredictable weather condition."

It added that rescheduled dates and additional details will be announced soon.

Park started her career in the Philippines after joining Star Circle Quest in 2004, before debuting with popular K-pop girl group 2NE1 in 2009.

She also made some hit songs in the 2000s such as "In or Out," "Ang Ganda Ko," and "Walang Sabit."

The last time she performed in a concert in Manila was in 2014 when 2NE1 staged their "All or Nothing" tour.
