More Korean stars to attend Asia Artist Awards at PH Arena

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 13) — Four more South Korean celebrities have been added to the list of expected attendees at the star-studded Asia Artist Awards (AAA) to be held in the country in December.

Local concert promoter PULP Live World announced on Wednesday that Lee Dong-hwi, Lee Jun-hyuk, Cha Joo-young, and Lee Eun-sam will grace the event on Dec. 14 at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.

Lee Dong-hwi is best known for his role in the widely popular television drama Reply 1988, while Lee Jun-hyuk's portfolio includes the crime thriller series "Stranger" and the fantasy action film "Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds."

Cha Joo-young, meanwhile, played one of the main characters in the Netflix show "The Glory," and Lee Eun-sam is part of the zombie K-drama "All of Us Are Dead."

Earlier, a Korean media outlet reported that South Korean actors Moon Ga-young, Kim Seon-ho, Ahn Hyo-seop, and Kim Se-jeong will be present at the awards ceremony, which is considered as Asia's Oscars and Grammy Awards. 

Several K-pop artists were also announced to perform in the event, including NewJeans, Le Sserafim, ZEROBASEONE, BOYNEXTDOOR, Stray Kids, ITZY, The Boyz, &TEAM, and Kwon Eunbi.

It will be hosted by IVE's Jang Won-young, soloist Kang Daniel, and ZEROBASEONE's Sung Han-Bin.

The AAA is attended not only by Korean personalities, but also by other Asian artists.

Ticket sales will begin on Nov. 12.
