Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 13) — K-pop group Stray Kids has lit up the stage of the Mall of Asia Arena with their performances during the “MANIAC” concert in the country.

But what made the night unforgettable, Stray Kids said, is the energy of Filipino Stays who cheered, danced and even sang their hearts out along with the K-pop group.

“You guys are nuts. The energy that I am just feeling from you, guys, it’s on a different level,” Bang Chan said during the first day of their concert.

“I think among all the MANIAC tours that I had, I guess today will be unforgettable,” Hyunjin said in Korean, with his speech being translated to English.

“Because of you, I was able to enjoy [the performance] very much,” Changbin also said in Korean, which was translated into English.

Meanwhile, Han thanked Stays who have come from afar to see their concert, saying that Stays’ “energies” made his “condition better.”

Han, who had symptoms of enteritis or inflammation of the small intestine, along with co-member Seungmin, had to skip dancing during the first night of the concert.

Lee Know, Seungmin, I.N, and Felix also thanked the Stays for coming, saying seeing the fans made them happy.

Filipino Stays welcomed the group with cheers as the K-pop group began the concert with “MANIAC” and “Venom” from their album “ODDINARY.”

All of the members of Stray Kids later on performed “Red Lights,” which was originally sung by Bang Chan and Hyunjin.

A live band also accompanied the K-pop group during their performance on “Thunderous,” “Hellevator” and “Victory Song,” among others.

The eight-member K-pop group concluded the first night of their two-day concert with a heartfelt rendition of “Haven.”

Kyle Orsos, a fan since 2019, said the concert left him “speechless” as the production quality was “top-notch.”

“Their performances were on a different level as well. They truly do give their best when they perform,” Orsos told CNN Philippines.

“My favorite part was when they performed 'FAM,' he added. "You could really see how close they are with one another and, as a fan, chanting their names alongside other Stays makes it feel like we are all part of the FAM (family) as well."

The Manila concert, which ran March 11 and 12, is part of Stray Kids’ second world tour “MANIAC.”

Prior to the Philippines, they mounted shows in Australia and Japan in February.

They last performed in Manila during their “Unveil” Tour in 2019.
