Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 21) — Fans of Paulo Avelino and Kim Chiu are in for a treat as the Kapamilya stars are set to lead the Philippine adaptation of hit Korean drama “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?”

The project is a partnership between ABS-CBN Entertainment and streaming platform Viu. It will be produced by Dreamscape Entertainment.

The TV series first aired in 2018, starring Park Seo-joon and Park Min-young. The story was based on a webtoon of the same title written by Jeong Kyeong-yoon.

It tells the story of Kim Mi-so (played by Min-young), the long-time secretary of Lee Young-joon (played by Seo-joon), the vice chairman of a big company. Mi-so decides to resign from her position after nine years, but Young-joon does everything he can to stop her.

There is still no specific date when the Philippine adaptation will be aired.
