PH bet Michelle Dee among winners of Miss Universe ‘Voice for Change’
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 19) – Philippine bet Michelle Marquez Dee was among the three golden winners of the “Voice for Change” campaign in the 72nd Miss Universe in El Salvador on Sunday.
Dee joined Angola's Ana Bárbara Coimbra and Puerto Rico's Karla Guilfú Acevedo.
Through the “Voice for Change” campaign, Miss Universe contestants showcased their personal advocacies in a three-minute video and urged the public to take part in their campaign.
Dee champions autism awareness and inclusivity, as two of her siblings are on the autism spectrum.
She is also the ambassador of Autism Society Philippines.
On Thursday, Dee entered the "Voice for Change" Top 10 along with representatives from Angola, Brazil, Chile, Lebanon, Puerto Rico, Singapore, South Africa, Ukraine and Zimbabwe.
She led the campaign with over 150,000 votes online.
