Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 24) — Dolly de Leon is on a roll.

The Filipina thespian bagged another best supporting actress trophy for her role in the critically acclaimed “Triangle of Sadness” at the 2022 Guldbbage Awards.

“Triangle of Sadness” also won other accolades including best film, best direction for Ruben Östlund, best actor in a supporting role for Zlatko Burić, best costume design, and best mask design.

De Leon has also won best supporting performance at the 2022 Los Angeles Films Critics Association Awards held in December.

She also recently made history for being nominated for the same category in the Golden Globe Awards and the British Academy Film Awards.

In the Cannes-winning movie, De Leon plays the role of Abigail, a toilet manager at a luxurious yacht who found herself in a position of power while stranded on an island with rich strangers.

According to its website, the Guldbagge Awards are Sweden’s leading film awards and have been presented since 1964.

The awarding ceremony was held in Stockholm, Sweden on Jan. 23.
