Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 1) – Blinks, are you ready? After almost two years of absence as a group, BLACKPINK just released a teaser on Sunday bearing their plans for the coming months.

Fans are treated to surreal visuals of dark pink smoke in the 30-second trailer, titled "Born Pink," while a booming instrumental dance beat plays in the background.

The video ends with a line-up of BLACKPINK’s upcoming projects from August to October.

The first on the list is a pre-release single scheduled this month. In September, the four-member girl group is expected to drop a new album.

On July 6, their agency YG Entertainment was quoted by Korean broadcaster SBS as saying the group was in "the final stages of recording a new album."

Superstars Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa of BLACKPINK will also tour the world beginning in October, as seen in the video.

YG also announced earlier that BLACKPINK will mount a worldwide tour that would be "the largest world tour in the history of a K-Pop girl group until the end of the year along with their comeback and large-scale projects worthy of that status will continue."

In October 2020, BLACKPINK dropped their full-length album titled, "THE ALBUM," which included hits "Lovesick Girls" and "How You Like That."

Meanwhile, members Rose and Lisa released individual albums in 2021.
