Maroon 5 will return to Manila this December

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 2) — After more than three years, American pop rock band Maroon 5 will perform once again in the Philippines as part of their 2022 World Tour.

The group shared on Instagram that their Manila concert will be held at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena on Dec. 8.

"We’ve added one last stop on our 2022 World Tour! We look forward to seeing you at the end of the year!" the band said.

The Grammy-winning band is making stops in Singapore, South Korea, and Japan before heading to the Philippines, and ending their concert tour in Thailand.

Details regarding concert tickets have yet to be unveiled.

The last time Maroon 5 visited the Philippines was in March 2019 for their Red Pill Blues Tour, also held at the MOA Arena.

Maroon 5 is known for their chart-toppers including 'Payphone,' 'She Will Be Loved,' 'Sugar,' and 'Animals,' 'Moves Like Jagger.'

The band's most recent studio album 'Jordi' was released in 2021.

Maroon 5 is composed of lead vocalist Adam Levine, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmichael, lead guitarist James Valentine, drummer Matt Flynn, keyboardist PJ Morton and multi-instrumentalist and bassist Sam Farrar.
