Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 27) — After recently winning seven awards, P-Pop kings SB19 will be releasing an album and embarking on a world tour in 2023.

Magre-release na rin po kami ng isa pang kanta [We will also release another song] soon and album next year and a bigger world tour po. So sana po abangan niyo po ‘yan [So we hope you will look forward to that],” Justin of SB19 told CNN Philippines on Saturday.

Mas dadamihan namin ‘yung countries and cities na dadaanan namin [we will visit more countries and cities],” Josh said.

Justin, Josh, Pablo, Stell, and Ken are putting the international spotlight on OPM and P-Pop with their first world concert tour “Where You At (WYAT).”

The group has just arrived in Singapore after visiting Dubai, New York, and Los Angeles. They are coming home to Manila to hold their final concert on Dec. 18.

Stell gave their trip to the US a five-star rating, saying they got insights from fans about how they may improve as a team and individually.

Maganda ‘yung experience. Hindi lang po kami nakapagbigay ng saya, pati sila (fans) nakapagbigay ng saya sa amin. Marami po kaming natutunan at marami pa kaming na-realize na mga kailangang gawin,” he added.

Even while on tour, SB19 topped the Awit Awards 2022 with seven wins, including Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist, Most Streamed Artist, and Best Pop Recording for “Bazinga.”

What the P-Pop powerhouse considers the best award is being able to inspire and touch the lives of their fans.

“Everytime na gumagawa kami (ng music) [we make music], we don’t think about the award that we might win. Talaga pong shine-share lang po namin ‘yung experiences namin in our music [We really just share our experiences in our music],” Pablo said.

Nagpapasalamat kami sa awards pero ang pinaka-award sa amin ay ‘yung ma-touch ‘yung mga buhay ng mga nakikinig sa amin,” the group’s chief songwriter added.

[Translation: We are grateful for the awards, but for us the best award is being able to touch the lives of those who listen to us.]

After all, according to SB19, it was A'Tin who contributed to their success.
