Marvel Comics’ Stan Lee to headline Comic-Con Asia 2018 in Manila

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 17) — Your friendly neighborhood superhero creator is coming to town.

Comic legend Stan Lee is heading for Comic-Con Asia 2018 in Manila.

Stan Lee was the genius behind iconic Marvel superheroes Spider-Man, X-Men, and the Fantastic Four, among others.

The 95-year-old Marvel Comics chairman emeritus also had a hand in DC Comics heroes Superman, Aquaman, Batman, among others.

Lee also played cameo roles in Marvel superhero films and television shows since 2000.

Comic-Con Asia will also feature NBA star Ray Allen, along with the original “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” Black Ranger Walter Jones.

The annual convention where fans and artists converge will run from March 24 to 25 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

The event will also feature local talents such as musician Yael Yuzon, comic book artists Harvey Tolibao, Carlo Pagulayan, and Ian Sta. Maria, and Armand Serrano of Walt Disney Animation Studios.
